Ethnographic Film and Research are essentially the study of people and cultures, and are often employed in the search for understanding cultural phenomena and indigenous epistemology (e.g. sources of traditional knowledge).
An outstanding approach is the ethnographic film, particularity the audio-visual redecoration of people and culture, including oral history (oral ethnography).
