Dr. Steven A. Martin
Steven has a general background in the film industry dating back to graduate school at National Chengchi University in Taiwan, where he developed ethnographic film projects on the indigenous Bunun with the Bunun Cultural and Educational Foundation. Steven worked in the TV commercial industry in Taiwan and starred in the made for TV drama "Numbers".
Through a series of 9 study abroad programs across the globe and 3 graduate programs in Asia, Steven conceptualized Education Abroad Asia and the Study Abroad Journal.
University Filmworks is an outgrowth of these organizations inspired by Steven's international university background together with Ed Vaughan's deep experience and JJ's talent. Together they form a collaborative crew in cinematic and resourceful film production and learning.

His volunteer support of University Filmworks has been instrumental from the start.
University Filmworks was made possible through the volunteer time and patience of Edward E. Vaughan (1942-2018), accomplished Associate Director (CBS News) and Assistant Director, Production Manager, Producer and Director on many popular TV shows and movies.
